Big Josso is not only a bonesetter but also a gardener and the owner of a bar. Most practitioners in the countryside usually have such a second and more official job, as this activity could not officially be approved. And he would work only for reliable farmers of the region. Usually, the client enters the bar to drink a glass of wine, and they start to speak together. The client starts to complain with his arm or some other disease. |
The client explains how it happened: he fell from the loft... Josso proposes to help and both of them go upstairs or in the garden, where they are sure that nobody would come to disturb them. The operation starts, the bonesetters is touching the painful area. Most of the time, the bonesetter can operate alone. When necessary, it can be more complicated: |

Three or four strong guys are called for assistance. 2 of them are instructed to pulled as strongly as they can, whereas the other would prevent the body to move using a large cloth. At the same time, Big Josso is placing the bone at the right place. |
