Bonesetters in Brittany

A doctor was not always available in the country or affordable for farmers, and traditional ways of treatment were commonly used. Bonesetters were among the people called to help and treat not only bone disease but also sometimes other diseases like heart problems... Bonesetters usually had a second and official job not to be accused of illegal medicine practice.
