Means of transport were often taken in picture for postcards. And the spare time to wait the bus or the ship could be used to write a few words.

It can be noted that there was also a regular ship between Honfleur and Southampton.

Buses

From Honfleur to Villers, it was possible to appreciate the "speed" of this new mean of transport. The postcards showing this 25km trip are now much sought after.

There is also a series showing the whole trip from Honfleur to Trouville, named "Norman coast road by bus" .

The Station

Arriving by train in the city center is no longer possible, but 100 years ago, this was the most common way to arrive in Honfleur.
